Our national public lands are a national treasure. They are places that we ski, hike, fish, and hunt. They are the places that some our fondest memories were made. And they were protected by our mothers and fathers, our grandmothers and grandfathers, and our most distant relatives for us to enjoy today. The responsibility to pass these lands on to the next generation is now our responsibility.

Public lands support a thriving and sustainable $646 billion annual outdoor recreation economy. To sell or transfer these lands would mean a profound loss of access and opportunity for Americans near and far, not to mention dire consequences for the wildlife that depend on intact migratory corridors and healthy habitat.

Simply, it is important to keep public lands public. Sign the petition supporting keeping public lands public.
