Repealing Obamacare is political suicide, to say nothing of the fact that it will hurt thousands and thousands of Coloradans--but Cory Gardner may not even care anymore. After promising over and over that he would not draft a bill “behind closed doors” to repeal health reform, that’s exactly what Gardner is doing right now. Sen. Gardner and Republicans in Washington are now betting that you are tired of fighting to protect the gains in coverage Obamacare created, and that you won’t remember to punish them at the polls in 2018 if they proceed with repeal.

The Affordable Care Act, a.k.a. Obamacare, has expanded access to health care and improved the lives of millions of people. Thanks to Obamacare, no one in America can be denied coverage for a pre-existing condition. Insurance plans are required to cover essential health benefits, and they can’t drop your coverage at the first sign of illness. The reason the polls are showing stronger support for Obamacare than ever before is simple: Americans know it’s working, even as the far right gets closer than ever to taking it away.

Sen. Gardner, stop serving Trump and serve Colorado. Stop threatening to take away health coverage from thousands of Coloradans and millions of Americans.
