Boulder County residents can quiz state lawmakers about the programs, services and projects the Legislature has built into Colorado government’s multibillion-dollar 2014-15 budget, during a town hall meeting set for tonight.

Sen. Matt Jones, D-Louisville, and Rep. Mike Foote, D-Lafayette, are to be joined by Sen. Mary Hodge, a Brighton Democrat who’s a member of the Legislature’s Joint Budget Committee, for a town hall scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, at the Louisville City Council chambers, 749 Main St., Louisville.

Jones, Foote and Rep. Jonathan Singer, D-Longmont, also were to have held a town hall meeting in Longmont on Thursday night. But Foote said that’s been canceled because the House is expected to be working late that night in Denver.

On Saturday morning, Sen. Rollie Heath, D-Boulder, is to be joined by House Majority Leader Dickey Lee Hullinghorst, D-Gunbarrel, and Rep. KC Becker, D-Boulder, for what Heath’s staff said will be his last town hall meeting before the legislative session ends on May 7. The Heath-Hullinghorst-Becker town hall is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon at the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, 2440 Pearl St., Boulder.
