Five candidates will compete for three at-large seats on the Apex Park and Recreation District Board of Directors in the May 6 election.
Positions are four-year terms. Incumbents Jim Whitfield and Ken Harrell face challengers Kristen Larington, Kenneth Haack and Tommy Skul.
The district’s annual budget is $10.6 million.
The following polling places will be open from 7 a.m to 7 p.m. on May 6:
• The Apex Center, 13150 W. 72nd Ave., Arvada;
• Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada.
