Castle Rock will keep the same mayor for another two years after council on Tuesday night voted another term for District 1 Councilman Paul Donahue, the town said in a news release.
Donahue will continue as mayor until 2016. He was first elected in 2008.
Council also voted 5-2 for District 3 Councilwoman Jennifer Green as mayor pro tem for the next two years. She has served since 2011.
In addition, four councilmembers were sworn in Tuesday night. On April 1, voters elected two new councilmembers, Brett Ford of District 7 and George Teal of District 6. Green and District 5 Councilwoman Renee Valentine were re-elected. All except Teal began four-year terms.
Teal is finishing the last two years of Councilman Clark Hammleman’s term after he stepped down in January.
