Longmont council members Bonnie Finley and Gabe Santos have been named to two different political committees, the city reported Thursday.
Finley will serve on the community and economic development steering committee for the National League of Cities, while Santos was named to the administrative committee of the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG). Both will serve one-year terms.
The NLC advocates for 19,000 cities, towns and villages nationwide. DRCOG represents county and municipal governments in the Denver area.
